A.i.

I got the chance to go to the Sixers vs. Lakers matchup Friday night & let me just say Kobe & A.i. put on a show. Ma boi didn't win it but it was so refreshing ta see him play the way he did. The Answer is still the man in Philly, beleee dattttt

GRAMMYS & SUCH

My favorite pic from Grammy night
<------DRiZZY, BiEBER, WEEZY

From what I've seen via WSHH vids & such, the Grammys were one hell of a party last night. Jay-Hov & B. Carter took home a combined 9 trophies (with B taking credit for a record 6 of those 9) & Taylor Swift also won big as she took home the grammy for album of the year. All awards aside, you already know what my favorite bits and pieces of the show were...

R.I.P.P. (Rest in Perfect Peace) MJ

I still dont understand why the guy in the control room who was responsible for the show's censoring was so trigger happy...

On Tha 1st Day..

My First Blog Post....still gettin tha hang of this thing so bear with me...uhh, so welcome to my world...its very random, no particular focal point, but hey alotta tha greatest things in life are random and spontaneous so it is wat it is. I guess I'll start by mentioning some particular individuals who whether they realize it or not, have opened my mind up to new definitions and examples of what it means to be creative:
1st: Rashad Campbell
A.k.A Shaddy B.k.A "#2"
I went to high school w/ Shaddy & I learned alot from him about humility, sportsmanship, and integrity among other things. Perhaps the most important characteristic that he had (has) that rubbed off on me is a presence of multifaceted creativity; he wants to be successful & creative in every aspect of life & he makes sure he surrounds himself w/ those who share that characteristic...So this is my 'thanks' to tha gridiron beast of tha east as I like ta call him {..I actually just made that up}. Make sure you check out his creativity @ http://shadshaddy2.blogspot.com/
2nd: Brandon Z Johnson
A.k.A Tha Sneaker-Freaker
Ok, I've only met tha dude 4 or 5 times but in that short amount of time he's redefined my ideas on what it means to be an "individual". Everything from headwear to footgear establishes a sense of a style that is most definitely all his own. Just a real creative cat..you can just here it in his voice he's about somethin special, somethin new, somethin creative...guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that he & Shad are close friends. Now that thats outta tha way, some random things that are on my mind today..
NBA Trade Rumor: Tracy McGrady For Andre Iguodala (&Youth)
This increasingly talked about rumor is quite interesting to me for two reasons. First of all, I have a renewed interest in tha hometown 76ers ever since ma boi BubbaChuck returned in early December; not because A.I. has made us a better team {we're currently 12-26..second to last in tha East, ahead of only tha sorry & sad NJ Nets} but because Allen in my mind is & forever will be tha greatest scorer ever. The second reason is based on tha above headline alone...whoever gave tha O.K. to this article's title needs ta be shanked, cus I read it & immediately thought to myself 'so Houston wants Iguodala along w/ his children' lol {or maybe I should be shanked for that bad joke =/ }.
In all seriousness though, this potential deal doesn't really move me as it probably should. Iguodala is awkward with tha ball & often inconsistent night in and night out, but for tha most part he's a great athlete who ensures that Philly remains one of tha more exciting teams in tha league to watch. It does seem crazy to most people ta trade him for a past-his-prime T-Mac but I think tha deal, if it does happen, could place tha Sixers in a prime position for tha heavily anticipated Free Agency Circus of 2010 come this summer. With Tracy's 23-million dollar contract coming off the books they would have tha financial standing to go after say a D-Wade or a Chris Bosh so I understand why they may be willing to part wasy w/ Iggy. I just hope Dalembert isn't a piece of tha so-called Youth package they are willing to send to H-town b/c athletic, shot-blocking big men with somewhat of good footwork is hard ta come by nowadays & we dont have tha bench nor a backcourt to fill tha hole in tha middle that Slammin Sammy D would leave behind. Heres tha link to tha full article..

ARTiSTS 2 WATCH 4 iN 2010:
QUE

I'm really anticipating Que as a solo artist just because tha dude is mad talented. I dont know how well he'll do w/o his "4 Brothers" but tha boi can sing...lets just hope his somewhat bipolar attitude doesn't destroy his solo career before it really begins =/

TRAViS McCOY

Another really talented guy; can't wait to see what projects he puts out this year. I'm especially lookin forward to his "Forgetting Katy Perry" mixtape aimed @ his ex-girlfriend {& possibly her soon-to-be husband, tha critically acclaimed Brit Russel Brand} & his first album under T-Pain's Nappy Boy Ent. label..

TYGA

"TYGA TYGA" might be my favorite rapper from tha YMCMB click {after Aubrey Graham of course} & I'm expecting him to step in & carry tha load w/ Drizzy & Nicki seein as though Boss Carter will eventually be behind bars {no pun intended} for much of tha year. Don't sleep on this cat...{Uhhhaa!}<--Tyga voice

So I'm getting lazy already w/ my Blog; I'll have ta set up something intruiging for next time but I guess I'll just leave you w/ something that defines a large part of my life & wat I'm all about...ENJOY
